Idaho Snapshot Day
April 13 is the big day!
The Idaho Library Association needs your help taking a “snapshot” of a typical day in the life of Idaho’s libraries. Idaho Snapshot Day will be held Tuesday April 13, and we want libraries across the state to record and report their statistics for that day— how many people come through the doors, how many items are checked out, etc. (April 13 will be the official Idaho Snapshot Day, but if that doesn’t work for your library, feel free to pick any day between April 11 and April 24 as your own Snapshot Day.)
Here is a printable version of the Idaho Snapshot Day Survey to keep at your desks to make keeping track of the statistics easier. Once all the statistics are collected, please submit them to us using this online form:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LMFGYKJ
We know the results of the survey will capture the dramatic impact that Idaho libraries have on our communities in a typical day. Once the surveys from all the Idaho libraries are in, we will pass those results on to you.
Snapshot Day is also a great time to collect patron comments and take photos for your website or other promotional materials. Here is a customizable patron comment form, and here is photo release for your use.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Idaho Snapshot Day coordinator Erica Littlefield at elittlefield@lib.tfid.org or
208-733-2964 ext. 110. Thanks for your participation, and we look to
seeing your “Snapshots” soon!
