CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Idaho is a member of the Pacific Northwest Library Association which has three openings on the Board of Directors in 2010.  Those positions are:

Vice President / President Elect:       

• serves a one-year term and takes office at the end of the conference following election 
• assumes the office of President the following year  
• co-chairs the Conference Committee with the state or provincial representative

2nd Vice President:

• serves a two-year term, taking office at the annual conference in even-numbered years   
• maintains membership records

Secretary:       

• serves a two-year term, taking office at the annual
  conference
• keeps official record of minutes of Executive Board and annual membership meetings 

The deadline for nominations is May 15, 2010.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an international climate of colleagues in LibraryLand!  We have had 8 Presidents serve from Idaho in the 100 years since PNLA was founded including Kathy Watson, Susannah Price and Mary DeWalt in recent years.
