Here’s how Idaho Library lovers can help:

Thursday January 10th 2008 packets will be delivered to the mailboxes of every Idaho legislator. Inside the packets will be:

• Information about library services and resources across the state
• The gift book My Antonia by Willa Cather (this is the official “Big Read” selection for 2008)
• Information about the Read to Me initiative which the Idaho Library Association is giving full support this legislative session

  On Thursday, please call or email your legislator and remind them to look for the gift book and packets. Let them know how much libraries are appreciated in Idaho and thank them for their continued support.

What kind of support? State funding for library services such as the LiLI Databases, the LiLI Unlimited Statewide catalog, and hopefully the Read to Me Program this year!! (All services offered through the Idaho Commission for Libraries).
