ILA 2018 Conference
Conference season is upon us. This year it takes place in Moscow!
Be sure that you don't miss out on all the exciting events planned.
Wednesday, there are several great pre-conferences to attend from 9-4 at the 1912 Center. From 6-8, attend the opening reception at the Moscow Public Library.
Thursday, be sure to hear ALA President, Jim Neal! The conference will begin at 8:30 at the University Inn. There are so many great sessions to choose from throughout the day. After the day's sessions, you can choose between the Intellectual Freedom Silent Auction Mixer held in the University Room or attend LiLAC's Speed Mentoring event at the Season's Bar. Librarians Ben Hunter, Emily Sitz, and Erin Downey will be available for one-on-one mentoring. Can't decide which pre-banquet activity to attend? Go to both! At 6, the Award Banquet begins. Amy Vecchione will pass her gavel onto Kate Lovan and LeeAnn Gelskey.
Friday morning, choose your sessions and then be prepared for the exciting Legislative Panel. After lunch, Division Meetings are followed by another round of sessions. And then a fond farewell.
A huge thank you to our Conference Co-Chairs, Robert Perret and Karen Yother; as well as the rest of the 2018 Conference Committee.
