Apply by February 1, 2011 to enter YALSA's Thinking Big About Advocacy Contest

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) of the American
Libraries Association (ALA) is now accepting applications for the
Thinking Big About Advocacy Contest.  Complete contest rules and
electronic applications are available at www.ala.org/yalsa/awards&grants, and will be accepted through February 1, 2011. Funding was provided for this contest by the Friends of YALSA.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Idaho is a member of the Pacific Northwest Library Association which has three openings on the Board of Directors in 2010.  Those positions are:

Vice President / President Elect:       

• serves a one-year term and takes office at the end of the conference following election 
• assumes the office of President the following year  
• co-chairs the Conference Committee with the state or provincial representative
